Muslims call non-Muslims as Kuffars ie Lowest creatures to be enslaved, now the Bahais call the non-Bahais as Seekers and they want to rule the world. These are all man made religions trying to impose their doctrines and conquer the human races to feel superior. Why are all these messengers come from Middle-East Countries and have a lot of WARS and they claim Gods choose them but their gods cannot come out to show himself or herself.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15078430724170001940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3631954868579892426.post-44773192556879738652016-04-06T07:13:32.958-07:002016-04-06T07:13:32.958-07:00Buddhists believe in rebirth but to be enligthened...Buddhists believe in rebirth but to be enligthened, one must wake up from the dream of existence ie no self. buddhists do not believe in soul as the abrahamic religions taught. We had a full relationship and traveled together, met our respective families, etc. He's now married to a cousin of his that he fell in love with at first sight while attending a family function. She was 14 at the time and he was nearly 30. He started pursuing her while still with me. He took me to some Baha'i functions when we were together. I wasn't particularly impressed. I feel bad for his wife, because he can't be trusted, and for the inbred children they're producing, with drooping eyes and weak chins. They didn't ask for a limited gene pool. One of the core problems--to which issues such as homosexuality or women-on-the-UHJ are ancilliary--is that of authority, which you rightly emphasize. That is, Baha'is are expected to believe that Baha'u'llah was 100 % right about everything (fortunately he didn't write very much that would lend itself to definite disproof), and that his successors 'Abdu'l-Baha, Shoghi Effendi, and the UHJ were likewise 100 % authoritative, though not infallible in the same way. All this is a way of explaining why Baha'is owe their institutions 100 % obedience, on pain of probation or expulsion. They call this system democratic, but it is about as democratic as the old USSR. If the rank and file were allowed to dissent from this or that "authorized" interpretation, then the whole magisterium would fall apart.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3631954868579892426.post-78732710259335335732015-07-04T22:43:36.728-07:002015-07-04T22:43:36.728-07:00I really enjoyed reading this. I too, spent about 5 years of my life friends with Bahais, but was never able to accept the faith for exactly the same reasons.

After years of "seeking" and reading vast and wide, and simply growing as a human being, I embraced Atheism, and to my surprise became a much happier and compassionate person.

Happier because it's just so much lighter to live without having to create mental acrobatics and contortions to accommodate illogical metaphysical ideas. And more compassionate when you realize how so many terrible things happen by chance.

I suspect that many Bahais are actually afraid to look too closely at their Faith. After all, their entire social structure is dependent on it. Because realistically, if you are an educated person living in the modern world, you would know on some level the inconsistencies of the religious claims.

Indeed, all Bahai's seem to be involved in some sort of do-gooder type occupation, which is quite admirable. But surely they notice that such do-gooder work can also be done by non believers?

And if Bahai's really are vessels of God's latest message for humanity, why have more people heard of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

If Lady Gaga can come out of nowhere and reach international fame in a few short years, why can't God's Divine Messenger for this day and age at least have a Facebook page with more "likes" than Kraft Macaroni and Cheese?

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3631954868579892426.post-24354903653760745102015-01-14T18:22:48.361-08:002015-01-14T18:22:48.361-08:00Hi Paul, thank you for writing this. I'll honestly say that I didn't read the entire entry, but the part where you said that Baha'is believe in reincarnation is unfortunately not so. The Baha'i Faith does not accept the theory of rebirth. Where did you get the idea that we believe in reincarnation? If you're right, then this part of my paper is completely wrong! >_<
Personally, I believe in reincarnation (haha) but maybe you should do more research on some stuff. I'm not bashing you or anything, I'm just saying. I hope you find the religion that best suits you. :)nataliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13621955069160161658noreply@blogger.com
